Halong Bay in
north Vietnam is home to the largest collection of karst limestone
islets in the world. The name Ha Long translates as 'descending
dragon' - referring to an ancient legend explaining how the
bay came to be formed. It is believed that a dragon descended
from the heavens and, as it came crashing down to earth, its
tail thrashed the ground and cut the bay from the rocks.
Until recently
Halong Bay was a haven for pirates and tourists were discouraged
from spending the night out in the Bay.

bit of indulgence. With a capacity of 10 on JoB and 16 on JoB II,
both boats provide a high level of service and comfort in a relaxed,
uncrowded environment.
Guests can choose
to stay on either boat for 1 or 2 nights or longer upon request.
